In the winter of 2010, I managed to produce an early around of images from “The Streetlights Painted a Portrait…” artbook. This version of the project is rather small, the images and the poetry blocks are 6 x 6 (rather than 12 x 12), but the project did get the highly-coveted spot on the circulation desk floor of the Concordia Webster Library.

It’s All Relative, organized by ASFASA (Arts and Sciences/Fine Arts Student Alliance), established this cross-disciplinary show in order to bridge gaps in between the fine arts and the three disciplines of psychology, philosophy, and biology. Various exhibits around the Concordia campus ran for two weeks and included various kinds of projects, installations, and research. Since my work branched two categories – Psychology and Philosophy – I was able to get a fairly popular exhibition space.

This exhibit lived on the second floor of the great Burritoville. It had a fabulous run and I received a lot of positive feedback. The Streetlights Painted a Portrait was part of a huge final project for Concordia PRIN 451 & PRIN 498E. This print exhibit was made in conjunction with two other artist books (a 12″x12″ individually Japanese bound print series and a 6″x6″ accordion version). Enjoy the photos!
